Sautso,
Altariver
Sautso is the biggest canyon in the north of Europe, also known from
the demonstrations during the development of Altariver. Statkraft
has a showroom inside the mountain by the dam where Alta Kraftverk
is located.
The dam is 110m high and you can take a look at the

dam through a panorama window. You may get information about the installation
and enjoy a multivisjon program. In the summer there are regular buss

Bubbelen
Bubbelen is a large and beautiful river that springs straight out
of the ground. It was a tourist attraction as early as the 1600 century.
The underground source is located in Langfjordbotn, at the top of
Bognelvdalen, about 80km from Alta direction Tromsø by the
E6.
Halddetoppen
Halddetoppen was the first north light observatory in the world.
The observatory is located in Kåfjord, about. 3km from Alta
towards Tromsø by the E6. It takes about one hour to walk from
the road to the observatory. The Observatory contains of 3 structures
and is partially restored It is possible to spend the night at Halddetoppen.
